One-Bowl Chocolate Chip Bread

this bread is too dense, has too many chocolate chips, and baking time is much too high - so I got a dry mass of cchocolate chips covered in dry dough. very disappointed.

I saw this recipe and immediately wanted to try it! It is very good, and will more than likely be making it again. I put it in 3 small loafs for me, my mom and my brother and one cup of chocolate chips in for two out of the three loafs. It was a little dense and burnt on the outside but, that was because I put it in too long. (My bad). I added a little under 2 cups of sour cream and it was great! My only recommendation is to separate it into two or three different loafs!

Easy to make. I only used 1 cup of chocolate chips. The batter was very dense. After about 55 minutes, I removed from oven. The bread was heavy and not very tasty. Don’t think I’ll be making again

Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda for a lighter texture.

Definitely needs to be divided into 2 loaf pans. I always make a new recipe first, the way it's written, and then adjust.  I will also cut back on the amount of chocolate chips.  Has the texture of cornbread. Will try one more time.

This recipe was THE BEST!! Quick, easy, inexpensive,  and best of all DELICIOUS!! I do reccomend using 2 loaf pans not one and cooking for a much shorter time about 35 minutes so it isn't so dense but oh mercy!!!

Delicious and so quick and easy.  I had self-rising flour on hand so it was especially quick to stir up.  I didn't have quite enough sour cream, however, so I used vanilla yogurt I had on hand.  It wasn't Greek yogurt, but it worked just fine anyway.  My grandchildren will love this!

Can't tell you how many times I have made this.  My hubby's favorite.  I'm substituting yellow raisins today in place of the chips.......his idea.  Probably will go back to the choc chips for the next loaf!

This is a perfect recipe for a delicious quick bread .It's good as is, or add some nuts A big thank you for this recipe, I will be making this again soon!

My family loved this bread, it’s so easy to make and not too sweet! I made this in mini loaf pans so I could share with neighbors and co workers. Everyone loved it! Terrific recipe!

This was moist and very good.  I divided the batter between two smaller loaf pans.  My family loved it and one of my children took the second loaf back to his apartment.  I will be making this again!

I found this recipe to be really easy and VERY good, too!  I did follow editor's note on the substitution for the self-rising flour and used light sour cream. Other than  that, ingredients were in keeping with recipe.  I did use smaller loaf pans  and less baking time.  Thank you for this recipe!

Just what I needed to use up some ingredients I had on hand.  I doubled the recipe.  Very quick and simple to put together

Easy to stir up . For only 5 ingredients,  this is really good.
