Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure your oven rack is in the center position.
Step 2
Cover your baking sheet with tin foil. (A casserole dish or baking pan also works well.)
Step 3
Place the bratwurst on the baking sheet, allowing plenty of space in between.
Step 4
Bake the bratwurst on one side for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Flip the brats and cook on the other side for 5 to 7 minutes (until browned).
Step 6
Quick Note: If you're cooking the brats with other veggies in the pan, they'll need 20 to 25 minutes. When cooked by themselves, the bratwurst cook in just 15 minutes.
