Export 9 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Add the flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to a bowl. Use a large wooden spoon to combine.
Step 2
Create a well in the center of the dry ingredient mixture. Pour in melted butter, maple syrup, and cashew or almond milk. Mix until fully combined.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 325F and grease a doughnut mold.
Step 4
Fill doughnut molds with the dough, leaving about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of space at the top for the dough to puff up a bit.
Step 5
Bake at 325F for 9 minutes.
Step 6
To make your frosting, add powdered sugar and maple syrup to a small bowl and whisk until fully combined and creamy. You may want to keep this in the fridge until the doughnuts are ready.
Step 7
Allow the doughnuts to cool and slather them with the maple frosting. If using coconut bacon (HIGHLY recommended), sprinkle them on top of the maple frosting.
Step 8
Enjoy!
