Step 1
Cook theĀ pasta according to package directions, being careful not to overcook.
Step 2
In a large skillet over medium heat, add theĀ olive oil and butter. When theĀ butter is melted, add in theĀ chopped onion and garlic. Stir and allow to cook for two minutes. Pour in theĀ vodka. Stir and cook for three minutes. Add in theĀ tomato puree and stir.
Step 3
Reduce theĀ heat to low and stir in the cream. Allow to simmer, being careful not to overheat. Stir in theĀ red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving 1 cup of pasta water in case theĀ sauce is too thick. Add theĀ cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to combine. Splash in a little water if it needs it. Stir in theĀ parmesan cheese.
Step 5
Pour theĀ mixture into large serving bowl. Sprinkle with more parmesan cheese.
Step 6
Eat it out of the serving bowl. Faint. Repeat as needed.
