Step 1

Place a large sauce pan on the stove over medium high heat and place the butter inside. Let it melt, and then toss in your mushrooms.

Step 2

Let the mushrooms brown on both sides, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Add in the stock, wine, salt, mushroom powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and linguini. If necessary, break your linguini noodles in half so they'll fit into the pot.

Step 4

Bring the mixture up to a simmer and reduce heat to medium-low. Stir frequently, and cook until the noodles are tender. If necessary, add in an additional 1/4 cup of liquid. Different noodles absorb different amounts of liquid.

Step 5

Remove from heat once the noodles are al dente, stir in half and half or cream, and sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
