instructions:How to cook Peach Dumpling CobblerPreheat oven 400 F. degree.Slice peaches in a large bowl and toss with 1 cup of sugar, fruit fresh and vanilla; set aside.Mix flour, salt, shortening, and cold butter together with a pastry blender until well blended. Add water to the well blended flour mixture. Mix all ingredients together with a fork until come together in a ball slightly.Divide the dough into thirds. Roll one third of the dough on a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin large enough to place the sheet of dough into a large oblong dish push the dough up the sides. Place 1/2 of the peaches across the dough.Roll one third of the dough on a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin large enough to place the sheet of dough on to the layer of peaches. Place the other 1/2 of peaches across the dough layer.Roll the last third of the dough on a lightly floured surface and place sheet of dough over the top of the peach layer.In a large saucepan, heat, sugar, butter, and water over medium heat until butter melts. Pour over the layers.With a sharp knife cut all the way through the cobbler diagonal across to the other side of the dish in strips. Turn and cut in the opposite direction diagonally across the dish.Brush liberally with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar and bake for 1 and 1/2 hour.
