After reading the reviews I decided to change this recipe slightly. I added 1/4 cup melted butter and 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips. It was perfectly moist and the flavor was great!

We also found this recipe to be bland, unfortunately. It was disappointing because our son is a peanut butter lover and he didn't find it flavorful.

Sad.  I was hoping for a muffin loaf kind of texture and more flavor.  My batter was so thick, it didn't pour.  Very dry, too.  I will try and modify this and get back to you if I am successful.  Otherwise, will try another recipe.

The second time I made this recipe, I added an extra 1/2 cup of milk and it was much better.  I would make it again.  I have found that I always have to alter recipes to my own liking.

This is easy to make, good texture, the whole family enjoys it!

This is a wonderful recipe. It is bread Why would you think it pours? No bread I have ever made Pours. I have taken bread making classes since I was 16 and not one bread recipe ever was pour-able.  When making breads and other recipes you might have to alter the recipe due to the location you live in due to the humility and elevations.

As written this bread is worth four stars. it is a little dry. Nobody should be complaining about the fact that it doesn't pour. I make all of our own bread and from hot dog buns, to pumpkin bread to naan, bread DOES NOT POUR!!! Very tasty bread, a little dry though. When I make it my way (five stars) I use 1 1/2 cups of milk and 1 cup of peanut butter (crunchy or smooth depending on my mood) and it comes out great. It is certainly worth trying, very easy to make. I enjoy it with a little bit of cherry vanilla jam on top.

I added the extra milk and peanut butter and the texture was fine. It was just tasteless. Put some jelly or even spread with more peanut butter helps. Won't make again

Hmmm... I found this to be a little dry and bland.

This recipe was not only dry, but needs a lot of tweeking. It needs about 1 cup of peanut butter, and at least 1/2 cup of sugar, maybe 2 eggs also to hold it together better. Disappointed that I tripled the batch, and none of my kids want to eat it.

This recipe was a swing and a miss. Will not make again.

Waste of good peanut butter. Dry. I won’t be doing this again.
