Peanut Butter Cookie Cups

(17-1/2 ounces) peanut butter cookie mix

peanut butter cups, unwrapped

<p>We loved these!  When I realized my mini muffin tins were at our lake house, I had to improvise.  I rolled the dough into balls and baked them on a cookie sheet and placed a peanut butter cup in the center after they came out of the oven.  Worked great...and I'll definitely make these easy cookies again! </p>

These were super easy to make. I made them with my 6 year old granddaughter. We sprayed the pan liberally with baking spray. We also dipped the cookie balls into sugar before putting them  in the mini muffin tins. We used the bottom of an empty shot glass to press the cookie balls which also spread it up the sides. It was easy peasy. These were a huge hit.

I use my own homemade peanut butter cookie recipe (not a mix), but you don't need to press and form the cookies into the mini muffin pan.  Just place the cookie balls into the muffin pan, cook the cookie balls for the recommended time, take them out of the oven, and immediately press the peanut butter cup into the cookie.  Works great!

I have made these for years as Christmas gifts with Pillsbury peanut cookie dough . I keep a ziplock of prior unwrapped Reese’s cups in frig until I need them, and quick to put together with sliced and quartered dough in greased mini tins. After pushing Reese’s in each puffed tart, put in frig awhile and they pop out easily  with tip of knife!   Everybody’s favorite!

My family makes these with large Rolo's and a homemade dough for the cookie which is really fast and simple to make.... really good!  Ours are called Caramel & Peanut Butter Hideaways....  ;-)

I make these every first of September and my co workers love them.  They always want the recipe and they are amazed there are only  ingredients :)

I've been making this recipe for YEARS, but I use chocolate chip cookie mix instead of PB mix and would highly recommend giving that a try!

before baking I roll the dough balls in white sugar for an extra bit of sweetness and sparkle.  I use my cookie scoop and leave them in balls, no need to shape before baking.  I also will buy the refrigerated tubes of peanut butter cookie dough to save even more time.

My aunt taught me how to make these many years ago. I always use refrigerated sugar cookie dough!

I've made this for years--ever since it first appeared in Quick Cooking.  Always a hit and nobody can believe how easy they are.

I haven't tried this particular recipe yet but I've made them for years using a roll of refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough. Cut the roll into 1" thick pieces, cut each piece into 4ths and drop each one into  mini-muffin pan. Cook according to pkg. directions. Have PB cups unwrapped and immediately upon removing from the oven, place 1 in each cookie. I usually use a knife to sort of work them up around the choc. for looks. Also seems to help the choc. edges melt better. Avery

I make these w/ my own cookie dough, not a mix,    & I agree w/franwalker  no need to press the dough. Pushing the peanut butter  cup in spreads the dough evenly, perfect!!

These are so easy!  They are a little rich though!  And I never get 36 cookies from this recipe.

Super easy and super delicious!  Made them last  year and already bought the ingredients to make them again!

These are DELICIOUS!!!!!  So easy, even my husband could make these:)  I find a tart tamper is a quick and easy way to shape the cups.

I made these today with my own cookie recipe and sugar free pb cups as DH is a diabetic. He tells me they turned out really well. 'Don't loose that recipe!' is his quote.

I made these to take to a Christmas luncheon at work & they were raved about! I used my own peanut butter cookie recipe, rather than the mix, great results!

I just bake the cookies on a cookie sheet and when done I just push a peanut butter cup in the middle of the cookie.Works just as good.
