Ingredients: 1 banana; 1/4 cup peanut butter; 2 pitted dates; 2 oz. brewed espresso (or sub 2 tsp espresso powder); 1 tbsp maple syrup; 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice); 5 ice cubes

This peanut butter espresso smoothie combines your two favorite things: peanut butter and coffee! It’s a delicious and nutritious breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up. 

Peanut Butter Espresso Smoothie

brewed espresso (or sub 2 tsp espresso powder)

maple syrup

almond milk (or milk of choice)

ice cubes

Blend

Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth.

Drink

Very tasty and satisfying! I might try my homemade chocolate syrup next time instead of maple for something different but I really love this recipe!

I made this today and it was amazing! I didn’t have any dates at home so subbed an extra tablespoon of maple syrup. Looking forward to trying it again with the dates instead!

Hi!  I was actually going to order delivery for an espresso smoothie but decided to look up a recipe that included espresso and peanut butter. Then I found your recipe!  I used the same ingredients but I sub’d the peanut powder with peanut powder/water and used 2 shots of espresso. A bit watery (because of the ice and my water portions) but very yummy. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
