FIRST STEP:Place the sliced pickles on the paper towels and dry each side

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl, then whisk in the beer

Place the batter in the refrigerator while the oil heats up

SECOND STEP:Heat 2 inches of oil in the Dutch oven until the temperature reaches 375*

Once the oil is heated, fry the pickles in batches

Place 8 pickles into the bowl with the batter, as you remove them one by one, wipe excess batter by using the rim of the bowl

THIRD STEP:Use a spider strainer to lower the pickles into the heard oil

Flip the pickles over to fry both sides

Using the Spider strainer, remove the pickles and lay them flat on a paper towel lined tray
