Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F

Step 2

Grease 9x13 baking dish

Step 3

Cook lasagna noodles as directed

Step 4

Cook mashed potatoes as directed

Step 5

In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until soft, adding salt and pepper to taste

Step 6

Place a few lasagna noodles in an even layer on bottom of baking dish

Step 7

Layer 1/2 of the mashed potatoes on top of the noodles

Step 8

Top with 1/2 of the sautéed onions and 1 cup of the cheese

Step 9

Repeat with another layer of noodles, potatoes, onions, and cheese

Step 10

Top lasagna with remaining noodles and cheese

Step 11

Bake for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly
