FIRST STEP:Preheat the oven to 350* and grease an 8x4 loaf pan

In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and butter until it is fluffy

Add in the eggs, one at a time, beating after each

SECOND STEP:In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and salt

Add in the pineapple syrup to the butter mix, then add half of the flour mix.

Gently mix this together and slowly add in the remaining flour, stirring continuously.

THIRD STEP:Add in the milk and stir one more time.

Gently fold in the crushed pineapple

FOURTH STEP:Pour the batter into the prepared pan and place on the center rack in preheated oven

Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until set in the middle and a toothpick comes out clean.

Let sit in the pan for 10 minutes

Turn out onto a cooling rack to finish cooling

FIFTH STEP:Make the glaze and slowly pour it over the bread. If you want your glaze to remain somewhat thick, be sure to wait until the bread is completely cooled down before pouring the glaze on top
