Name: Pineapple-Soy Marinade

Ingredients: 2 cups pineapple juice; 1/4 cup soy sauce; 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar; 2 tablespoons canola oil; 2 garlic cloves, finely grated; 1 teaspoon kosher salt; 1 teaspoon pepper

That canned pineapple juice isn&rsquo;t good for just pi&ntilde;a coladas. Here it&rsquo;s combined with soy, vinegar and garlic in the tastiest marinade for pork, chicken, beef and even swordfish and salmon. Slideshow: More Marinade Recipes 

Pineapple-Soy Marinade

pineapple juice

soy sauce

white vinegar

canola oil

garlic cloves, finely grated

salt

pepper

In a medium bowl, whisk all of the ingredients until combined.


A word to the wise.  Pineapple juice is one of those items that has an enzyme called Protese that tenderizes meat quickly.  Fresh pineapple juice or pulverized fresh pineapple is mandatory.  Canned pineapple is heated which kills the enzyme so it won't work.
