Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3

In a large saucepan, combine the water, the celery, 6 tablespoons of the butter, and the onion.

Bring the mixture to a boil.

Transfer the saucepan from the heat and stir in the stuffing cubes.

Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.

Add the pork chops to the hot oil and brown on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.

Place the pork chops over the stuffing.

Season the pork chops with the salt and the pepper.
