Step 1

In a medium pot, heat oil over medium. Add onions and garlic and cook 3–4 minutes until translucent. Add cumin, chili powder and oregano; stir to coat. Stir in chiles, hominy, pork, broth and 1 cup water.

Step 2

Bring to a boil, then lower heat to simmer 30 minutes. Remove from heat and cool at room temperature 10–15 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in cilantro and serve with sliced radishes and lime wedges, if desired.
