Step 1
Start by combining the dry ingredients to a bowl- the oat flour, protein powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix those well.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients- the peanut butter, melted coconut oil, and milk. Mix those well.
Step 3
Add the wet ingredients to the dry.
Step 4
Transfer the batter to a large piping bag. Cut the end of the piping bag.
Step 5
Pipe the donut batter into a donut mold.
Step 6
Bake the donuts for 15-17 min at 350*F/ 180*C and give them plenty of time to cool.
Step 7
Once the donuts are done baking, combine peanut butter and coconut oil in a bowl and melt them the microwave for 1 minute.
Step 8
Note: use natural creamy peanut butter for this recipe. This is the kind that only contains peanuts and salt as the ingredients. If you use a different type, the consistency will be too thick. You can add more oil to fix this.
Step 9
After the peanut butter and coconut oil have melted, add in the protein powder and maple.
Step 10
Once the donuts have cooled, take each one and dip it into the glaze, then set the donuts on a cooling rack. You can drizzle some melted chocolate on top at this point. Then put the donuts in the fridge until the glaze hardens and enjoy!
Step 11
You can store the donuts in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days. This recipe makes 7-8 donuts.
