Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
Step 2
Cut the puff pastry into thin, long strips.
Step 3
Wrap one pastry strip in a spiral around each asparagus spear. Place on a baking tray. Brush each of them with a little olive oil, then sprinkle with sesame and salt.
Step 4
Bake the puff pastry asparagus appetizers in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the pastry has risen and it's golden-brown.
