Step 1
Bring all ingredients in a saucepan to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes.
Step 2
Discard the cinnamon sticks and puree the prunes with the boiling liquid in a food processor or blender. This will take a few minutes, and possibly a few stirs to get all of those prunes pureed. If needed, add more water a Tbsp at a time.
