Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2
Peel and core apples, then cut them in half. Place apples in a 9X13 baking dish.
Step 3
Sprinkle red hots over apples, then add the water.
Step 4
Bake for 15 mins at a time, flipping every 15 minutes for a total of 60 minutes. Apples should be soft and easily pierced with a fork. If they need additional time, bake 10 more minutes.
Step 5
Remove them from the oven and cool. Store in the refrigerator.
