Step 1
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Step 2
Once melted, add the flour and whisk until combined. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add the beer and stir until combined. Then add the dry mustard and stir until combined.
Step 4
Add the cheese and stir until melted. Then add the milk, stirring until combined.
Step 5
Continue to cook over low heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.
Step 6
Serve immediately.
