Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. While the oven is preheating, let the pork tenderloin sit out at room temp for 10-15 minutes to take off the chill.
Step 2
Pat the meat dry with a paper towel. Season the pork tenderloin with your favorite seasonings.
Step 3
Place the pork tenderloin on a wire rack over a baking sheet and place in the oven.
Step 4
Cook the pork in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit, about 30-40 minutes. Use an oven safe kitchen thermometer for accurate results.
Step 5
Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest on the rack for 5-10 minutes before searing.
Step 6
While the pork is resting, heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil to the pan. Add the pork tenderloin to the pan and sear on all sides until the exterior is golden brown and crisp, about 1-2 minutes per side.
Step 7
Remove the pork from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Step 8
Preheat the grill to low heat, about 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 9
Pat the meat dry with a paper towel. Season the pork tenderloin with your favorite seasonings. Place the pork tenderloin on the grill grates.
Step 10
Cook the pork on the grill, with the lid closed, until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This will take 30-40 minutes. Use a meat thermometer for accurate results.
Step 11
Once the internal temperature reaches 140F, remove the pork tenderloin and let it rest under foil for 10 minutes. While it is resting, turn the grill heat up to medium-high heat. Place the pork on the grill and sear on all sides until the exterior is golden brown and crisp, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Step 12
Preheat your smoker to 220 degrees Fahrenheit. While the smoker is preheating, let the pork tenderloin sit out at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
Step 13
Pat the meat dry with a paper towel. Rub the seasonings on all sides of the meat.
Step 14
Place the pork tenderloin on the smoker, close the lid and smoke until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit, about 30-45 minutes.
Step 15
Remove the pork tenderloin from the smoker, cover with foil and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Step 16
Heat the smoker to 400F for 10 minutes while the pork is resting. Sear on the smoker for 3-4 minutes each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145-150F. Let rest for 5-10. Slice and serve.
