Preparation Sift the dry ingredients together Cut the solid shortening into the dry ingredients Add the milk all at once Stir until the dough is fairly free from the sides of the bowl. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured board. Kneed gently, folding eight to ten folds. Roll to desired thickness. Cut up. Bake until lightly browned, about 12 to 13 minutes. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
