Step 1

Preheat oven 200°C fan / 220°C conventional / 425°F / Gas mark 7Cut wings in half to create drumette and wingettes.

Step 2

Pat dry with kitchen roll, place in bowl with flour, salt, pepper and Chinese five-spice into a bowl

Step 3

Coat wings with the flour mix

Step 4

Place on baking tray, spray with some oil. Cook on the centre shelf in the oven for 30 minutes. Turn once halfway through cooking time.

Step 5

Heat sesame oil, spring onions, chilli and garlic for 5 minutes.

Step 6

Add the oven-baked wings to the oil, garlic, chilli and spring onions and stir through to coat them.

Step 7

Serve as a starter, main or a party food!
