Ingredients: 1 red or green leaf lettuce; ¼ medium onion ((thinly sliced)); 2 green onion ((thinly sliced)); toasted sesame seeds; 2 garlic cloves (minced); 1½ tablespoons soy sauce; 1½ tablespoons sugar; 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar; 1 teaspoon sesame seed oil; ½ teaspoon Gochugaru ((Korean chili flakes))

green onion ((thinly sliced))

sesame seeds

garlic

soy sauce

sugar

apple cider vinegar

sesame seed oil

½ teaspoon Gochugaru ((Korean chili flakes))

For the lettuce, wash, drain and dry. Cut into 1-inch thick strips. Transfer to a large mixing bowl. Toss in onion and green onion.

In a small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients. Whisk until sugar has dissolved.

When ready to serve, pour half of the dressing over. Toss and adjust with more dressing if needed. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
