Step 1
Note: This recipe will fill a 9x9 square baking pan to the top. You can also spread it in a 9x13 baking pan but the layers will be thinner.
Step 2
Spread the refried beans in the bottom of a square baking pan, then sprinkle the taco seasoning over the top. (You can also mix the taco seasoning with the beans or with the sour cream mix if you'd like it to be more evenly distributed.)
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine together the cream cheese and sour cream. Mix well, then spread over the refried beans.
Step 4
Spread the guacamole over the sour cream mix.
Step 5
Spread the salsa over the guacamole.
Step 6
Sprinkle the cheese over the salsa.
Step 7
Sprinkle lettuce over the cheese.
Step 8
Sprinkle sliced olives on the top.
Step 9
Serve immediately or within 1 hour of preparing the dip. Cover and refrigerate before serving.
