Step 1

Place sourdough bread slices onto a sheet pan covered with parchment paper. Stir Sambal Oelek and 1 tablespoon of olive oil mixture together into a paste, then spread onto each slice. Drizzle with extra olive oil if required.

Step 2

Add a generous amount of shredded cheese to each slice and sprinkle breadcrumbs over the cheese. Combine remaining herbs together, then sprinkle generously over the cheese bread.

Step 3

Place into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown in color. Sprinkle with Kosher salt and pepper, then serve immediately.
