Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2

Place the grated apples in the frozen pie crust. Mix together the egg, sugar, melted butter or margarine, vanilla, and cinnamon or apple pie spice. Poor over the grated apples inside of the piecrust.

Step 3

Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, until the pie is set and the apples are golden brown. Check the pie at about 40 minutes in and place a piece of tinfoil over top if the pie is starting to get too brown.
