Export 8 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Wrap cubed ice in a tea towel and break with a rolling pin (or similar – don’t use a wine bottle, we don’t want smashed glass!)
Step 2
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
Step 3
Chuck in plenty of ice and shake vigorously and briefly
Step 4
Strain into tall glass
Step 5
Add your rolling-pin-crushed ice until just shy of the rim
Step 6
Slowly and gently pour your port over the top, so it ‘floats’ on the drink
Step 7
Add more crushed ice to create a dome of ice
Step 8
Garnish with mint sprigs and and skewered lychees and blackberries – if you’re going for a Halloween theme, stuff the blackberries into the lychees to create some spooky eyeballs
