Step 1
Slice your pita pockets into triangles and add them to a large container with a lid (a ziplock bag will also work!). Drizzle the oil over the pitas and sprinkle in the pepper and salt. Cover and shake relatively gently until all the pitas are nice and coated.
Step 2
Add these pita triangles to the air fryer basket and cook them for 10-15 minutes at 320 F, stopping to toss the basket gently every 3-5 minutes until you reach your desired crispness.
Step 3
Let the pita chips cool about ten minutes before serving. They will crisp up a bit more as they cool, so keep that in mind! Serve them on a giant hummus platter or on their own for snacking! These chips are best served immediately, but leftovers can be stored in an air-tight container in the pantry for up to 3-5 days. Enjoy!
