Simple Apple Cake recipe

Step 1

Combine apples with cinnamon and brown sugar, mix well.

Step 2

Grease 28 cm x 25 cm baking dish.

Step 3

Beat eggs until creamy and thick, gradually adding sugar and beat for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Add oil, vanilla and orange juice.

Step 5

Beat until sugar is dissolved then stir in flour.

Step 6

Pour ¾ of mixture into tin, cover with apple and any excess juice.

Step 7

Top with remaining cake mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Step 8

Bake for 60 minutes at approximately 180C.
