Simple Steamed Rice is a super cheap and filling addition to any meal -- I especially love pairing this with my Easy Chicken Veggie Stir Fry, but you could easily use it as the foundation to a variety of dishes! Hands down the tastiest rice recipe you'll ever try.

Simple Steamed Rice

butter

rice

chicken broth (or water)

tsp salt

Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat.

Add rice and sauté, stirring frequently until rice is fragrant and the grains have turned from slightly translucent to solid, creamy white {about 3 minutes}.

Add chicken broth {or water} and salt. Cover and set to medium low to bring to a simmer. If rice starts to boil, lower the temperature even more.

Cook for 15-25 minutes until all liquid is absorbed and rice is soft and fluffy.
