Export 4 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Prepare the peaches by washing, slicing in half and removing the pit.
Step 2
In a bowl combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Press each half of the peaches, cut side down, into the bowl until well coated.
Step 3
In a 12 inch skillet or cast iron pan over medium heat melt the 3 tablespoons of the butter.
Step 4
Place each peach half, seasoned side down into the pan. Cook until heated through about 5-7 minutes. Moving them around every 30 seconds to make sure they don't get burned.
Step 5
Remove the peaches from the pan and add in another 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir until the brown sugar and cinnamon in the pan are combined with the butter. At this point you can add more of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture if you need to. I just use what is already in the pan.
Step 6
Add the pecans to the pan and stir until well coated, continue stirring and cooking until they are warmed through and fragrant. The butter will thicken and form a crunchy texture on the pecans. Remove from the heat.
Step 7
Place a peach cut side up in a bowl or on a plate, top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired. Drizzle with toasted pecans and butter from the pan. Serve warm.
