Step 1
Trim ALL fat from roast. (This is really important ~ these tend to be fairly fatty cuts and you'll want to get rid of as much fat as possible prior to cooking.)
Step 2
Mix together all the spices and rub into roast.
Step 3
Place roast in slow cooker
Step 4
Add water around the roast.
Step 5
Cook 8-9 hours on low.
Step 6
Shred pork, cook in juices an additional 15 minutes.
Step 7
Serve on buns and top with your favorite barbecue sauce.
