In a slow cooker, combine the butter, olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cover the pot and cook on high for 20 minutes. Add the shrimp and stir to coat. Cover the pot and cook on high for 15 minutes. Add the lemon juice; stir and replace the cover. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes longer, or until the shrimp are opaque. Serve the shrimp with angel hair pasta or rice. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
