Step 1
Brown the turkey in two batches. Brown in a large saucepan until mostly cooked. Drain, sprinkle one teaspoon, cumin, and chili powder, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add to slow cooker and cook second batch with the same directions.
Step 2
Cook onions in the same pan after the turkey is done for 4-6 minutes. Add jalapeno and garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute. Add bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add to slow cooker.
Step 3
Add tomato paste, broth, petite diced tomatoes, cayenne pepper, zucchini, and sweet potato and remaining teaspoon of cumin, salt, and chili powder to the slow cooker.
Step 4
Stir ingredients. Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or low for 4-6 hours.
