Step 1

Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water according to the directions on the packaging of the pasta. Drain.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Ad in flour and stir until well combined. Slowly add in the milk and continue to mix until it starts to thicken.

Step 3

Reduce heat to low and add in the smoked gouda cheese, white cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until the cheese has completely melted and the sauce is smooth.

Step 4

In a small pan, cook the panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, butter, and garlic powder until the butter has melted and the breadcrumbs have lightly browned.

Step 5

Add pasta to the sauce and stir until well combined. Serve topped with the breadcrumbs and bacon.
