Step 1
Preheat the smoker to 225°F.
Step 2
Prep the sweet potatoes by washing well, drying with a paper towel, rubbing with oil, and then sprinkle with a little salt.
Step 3
Place onto the grill and let smoke for 1-2 hours, or until a skewer inserted into the sweet potato goes in without resistance.
Step 4
Remove from the grill and slice down the middle.
Step 5
Fluff with a fork.
Step 6
Add a pat of butter inside each sweet potato. Sprinkle with a little salt and the brown sugar.
Step 7
Serve hot.
