Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Combine bread flour, milk powder, sugar and yeast. Pour in cold water to knead at slow speed to form a dough. Once the dough is formed, increase to high speed. The process should take about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the butter and salt to knead for another 4 minutes. Use slow speed to let the dough absorb the butter first before increasing to medium speed.
Step 3
Let the dough ferment for at least 40 minutes in a warm area. It should doubled in size when done.
Step 4
Divide the dough into halves. Roll out each dough and fold into thirds. Flatten it once again into a long rectangular shape before rolling it. Carefully place it into the loaf tin with the seam side down. Here, a 500g bread tin is used. Proof for at least 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for at least 40 minutes at the most bottom rack of the oven.
