firstly, in a large kadai take 2 cup water, ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp oil.

mix well and get to a boil.

once the water starts to boil, add 1½ cup rava stirring continuously.

keep stirring until the rava absorbs the water.
Step 5
cover and simmer for 2 minutes or until the rava is cooked well.
Step 6
transfer the cooked rava to a large bowl.
Step 7
mix well making sure a smooth soft dough is formed.
Step 8
now pinch a ball sized dough and roll.
Step 9
dust with rice flour and roll uniformly.
Step 10
roll to slightly thin thickness like roti.
Step 11
cook the roti on a hot pan keeping the flame on medium.
Step 12
once the base is half cooked, flip over gently.
Step 13
cook one side completely.
Step 14
now put the half-cooked side on fire and allow to puff up.
Step 15
finally, enjoy sooji roti with malai kofta or curry of your choice.
