Soy Ginger Dipping Sauce

soy sauce

rice wine vinegar

ginger

green onion

garlic, minced

sugar

sesame oil

Add all of the ingredients to a lidded jar and shake well to combine. Serve as a dipping sauce for tempura or dumplings.

Great sauce and tastes great to us. We love the ginger coming thru strongly in this recipe. I use it for didps and as a seasoning for our steamed Veggies

This soy dipping sauce, which I found to be very good, was on season 18, episode 3, which aired 01/19/20 (about 6 weeks ago).<div>My question: How can there be reviews for this recipe from 58 - 2000+ days ago?? </div>

Personally, just didn't like the flavor.  Maybe too much ginger?

Great dumpling dipping sauce. VERY easy to make. 

Great sauce! Ate it with the homemade potstickers and I will be making it again very soon! 

I am Japanese and this tasted much more like gyoza (dumpling) dipping sauce, not tentsuyu, Japanese tempura dip. Tentsuyu has a much lighter flavor. 

I liked this a lot!  I used Tamari in place of soy and since it was full sodium I added water to the sauce until it was the perfect saltiness.  Perfect with beef lettuce wraps :)

Way too strong and vinegary.  It tastes nothing like tempura sauce.

The tempura is good, but the sauce is far too heavy handed to go with the lightness! Perhaps the sauce would be good with pork or beef? Shame shame crushing the delicacy of the tempura with a sauce like that! Next he'll suggest ketchup! Horrors...<br />
