Step 1

In a medium bowl, using a whisk, mix together the first 4 dry ingredients.

Step 2

In a large bowl, using a whisk, beat together the remaining 4 wet ingredients

Step 3

Pour the dry ingredients into the large bowl of wet ingredients and beat together with a whisk until the batter is smooth. (If making Shamrock waffles for St. Patrick's Day add a few drops of green food coloring to the batter and mix in.)

Step 4

Use cooking spray on a heated heart-shaped waffle maker. Transfer batter into a measuring cup. Pour batter into waffle maker. Remove from waffle maker when done (about a minute).

Step 5

Put together three heart shapes to make one shamrock.
