Place spinach and water in a microwaveable bowl. Cover tightly and microwave until starting to wilt, about 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on your microwave.

I beg to differ on the reviewer who said this wasn’t a recipe. It was the perfect suggestion I needed for a simple side dish.

This calls for spinach, water and a microwave... How is this even a recipe?

I  collect cookbooks, so it was unusual to discover none provided a recipe for "fresh/steamed baby spinach."  So when all else failed .... I hit the computer and FOODNETWORKTV.com.   My first look was at Alton Brown, but he disappointed me ... no recipe.   So I started looking at "sides," when Robin Miller's recipe popped up.   <br /><br />WOW .... easy to fix, nutrious, and extremely good.   Thank you Robin you saved me from having Spinach salads, creamed spinach or some other dish when I only wanted "steamed fresh spinach."

It was verry fast and supper good try using vegi broth in stead of water
