Step 1

Peel and slice the onion.

Wash and cut the broccoli into even pieces.

Finely chop the garlic.

Cut and squeeze the juice from the lemon.

Heat olive oil in a pot and saute garlic and onion with oregano for a minute. Add in broccoli and saute for 5 minutes. Add water and let simmer for 20 minutes or until all the ingredients are thoroughly cooked. Add more liquid if needed while cooking. Finally, stir in the lemon.

Add salt and pepper to taste.
