Step 1
Place all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix together well. Set aside.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into bite size pieces.
Step 3
Get three bowls and put the flour into the first bowl, the cornstarch into the second bowl and beat the eggs into the third bowl.
Step 4
Take each piece of chicken and dip it into the beaten eggs, then coat in flour and then coat in cornflour. Set aside.
Step 5
Heat the oil in a wok or heavy based frying pan. Add the chicken to the pan and fry over a medium heat for around 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until nicely browned. You may need to do this in two or more batches depending on the size of your wok/frying pan.
Step 6
Pour the sauce over the chicken and continue to cook until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is well coated.
Step 7
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions to serve.
