Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

Mash ripe bananas with a potato masher or fork.

Step 3

Mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl.

Step 4

Add in the sugar, egg, and vanilla and mix.

Step 5

Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and mix well.

Step 6

Gently fold in strawberries.

Step 7

Pour mixture into a buttered 4×8 inch loaf pan.

Step 8

Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 9

Cool on a rack. Keep in an airtight container up to three days.
