Export 6 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Add oats and ground flaxseed to a medium sized mason jar or bowl with a lid. Stir to combine.
Step 2
Add just under ¾ cup plant milk of choice and maple syrup. Stirring to combine with the oats.
Step 3
If adding jam or yogurt right away it will likely sink a bit through the oats. If you want a distinctive line just wait a little while until the oats have firmed up.
Step 4
Top with diced strawberry and any toppings you desire. *To toast sliced almonds, sprinkle them on a hot dry pan. Let them toast, stirring, for about 3 minutes or until nicely browned and fragrant. Granola, other nuts, seeds, and of course… peanut butter make great toppings! If adding nuts or granola they will soften if they sit in the jar overnight. If you want the toppings to be crunchy, keep them separate until the morning.
Step 5
Secure the lid on the jar or bowl and leave in the fridge overnight or for at least 1 hour. These keep well for a few days if you want to make them ahead of time!
