Dice onions.
Step 2
Carmelize the onions in 2 tbsp. butter on medium-low heat (about 10-15 minutes or until browned)
Step 3
While the onions are cooking, mix the apple butter, greek yogurt, sour cream, deli mustard and apple cider vinegar. Add pepper to taste.
Step 4
Add sauteed onions.
Step 5
Refrigerate for about 15 minutes to reduce the already cool mixture back down from adding the hot onions.
