This was a big hit at our house.  No complaints about any part of this recipe - it is delicious.  I did add some red pepper flakes before serving but no other changes were made.  We will definitely be making this again (and again).  Yum!  Thanks for sharing.

Excellent recipe! I had some peach salsa available, so I used that, and it nicely complemented the peach preserves.

I saw this recipe here years ago, and use it regularly. It’s a weird combo of ingredients but it turns out delicious. I sometimes add veggies like peas or green beans to the mix, or I swap out the preserves for cranberry sauce, or I might add a little heat with chili flakes; it’s very adaptable. Many of my food-snob friends have loved it, but I don’t tell them what the ingredients are or they would change their mind, lol. They think I’ve made a lovely “ethnic” meal. Our little secret *wink*

I doubled the recipe and my family said "a keeper"! I was a bit skeptical about trying this but am glad I did. It is very tasty, and prep is minimal (except for cutting up the chicken, which I really dislike doing). I made it according to directions except I simmered longer and without covering. I used mild seasonings but spiciness can easily be added if desired. Very good! It will be a go-to when we have family gatherings.

Great recipe; it was easy to make, and the sweetness of the peaches smooths out the spiciness of the salsa and seasoning while still leaving some kick. It's very flavorful and colorful; I will definitely put this in my rotation!

This was amazing!  I took the advise of previous reviews...tripled the recipe.  I sauteed the chicken first (loved the way they browned) and removed them.  I think sauteed coarsely cut onions (about the same volume, not weight, as the chicken)...and then assorted peppers (again, about the same volume).  I returned the chicken to the pot (Ninja 3-in-1, stove top setting) and added the sauce.  The chicken was wonderfully tender and not dry at all.  Lots of sauce to serve over rice, topped with cheddar cheese, black olives and sour cream.  I wish I had cilantro but did not.

Absolutely delicious! I cooked as described with smuckers peach preserves. So good. Everyone in my family, loved it and ate it all up! My oldest daughter 13, said she wished it was a bit spicier so I added a few crushed red pepper flakes to her serving. Other than that, it was awesome and I have two younger kids 8 and 9 who hate spicy food and are picky eaters and they absolutely loved this dish! Will definitely make again.

Surprisingly, a great dish! I was skeptical of the ingredient list, but it really evens out. The sweet preserves with the tangy seasonings and spicy salsa (we used medium), was a flavorful twist.  Next time I'll ad some onions, peppers and some pineapple chunks. Solid recipe.

This recipe is very good.  I made it for the 2nd time adding sliced onions while browning the chicken and reduced the taco seasoning just a little.  Next time I might also add sliced green pepper when browning the chicken.  Reheats well.

I make this using  sugar free apricot preserves.  Also no oil to saute the chicken, just use a cooking spray in the pan.  Really lowers the calories.

This was good! Only sub was apricot for peach preserves since that's what I had. Always happy to find a new way to dress up chicken and this is def a keeper. Only downside was my two-year old didn't like it...but she's picky & at least she liked the rice I made with it so didn't really have to make a whole other meal ;)

This is one of the best chicken recipes I have ever tried!  This recipe will definately be in the monthly rotation at my house!  LOVE IT!

Very Good and easy.  Used sugar-free apricot jam. Served with  whole grain spaghetti.

Easy, simple, tasty and I need to make sure to use mild salsa for my kids. I would like to try using cranberry sauce instead of the preserves as other reviewers suggested.

My whole family and friends love this dish. I lower the fat by coating the chicken with the taco mix and baking for half hour til done. No frying. When I'm pressed for time I have sprinkled taco mix on cooked chicken and left in a bag all day. When ready, I just followed the rest of the recipe. Voila, instant dinner. And oh so GOOD.

WONDERFUL  CAN'T  REALLY  SAY  I  MADE  IT  WORD  FOR  WORD  CAUSE  I  USED  PORK  AND  WOW.  ALSO  USED  CAN  OF  STEWED  TOMATOES  AND  A  COUPLE  OF  DASHES  OF  HOT  SAUCE  WOW.  PUT  IT  ALL  IN  THE  SLOW  COOKER  AND  LET  IT  GO.  WE  HAD  IT  TONIGHT  AND  WE  ALL  LOVED  IT.  NEXT  TIME  I  WILL  USE  CHICKEN  LOL  BUT  AFTER  ALL  PORK  IS  THE  OTHER  WHITE  MEAT!!!!!

Great flavor with the peachy sweetness added to salsa and so fast to put together!  I love this recipe when time is short and dinner time is close!!  If you use a Minute rice, and steam some broccoli, you have a meal in minutes!

Great flavor, quick and easy for busy moms. Even the picky eaters loved the recipe.

It was just ok.  It wouldn’t be one to make frequently.

I used Peach Pineapple salsa and added some onion, green and yellow bell pepper strips and my family raved over it. I also did the suggestion of oven grilling the chicken first so no need to fry anything. It's so a keeper!!!

This was an easy, good dinner.  I served it with a brown rice/quinoa mix.  My daughter is not a fan of spicy foods, so she was worried it would be too spicy.  I used a mild-ish salsa.  We both liked it, and I'll probably make it again.

Wow! This was a fast, quick meal to make and it tasted great! I only need to make a meal for two so 2 chicken breasts 3/4 c. of rice and halving the rest of ingredients worked perfect. I love the low calorie count also! I will make this again!
