Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
In a bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt.

In a large bowl, blend together sugar and butter until smooth, then blend in egg.
Step 4
Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
Step 5
Roll dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Step 6
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
