Step 1

Chop the broccoli into florets and peel the stem. Chop the stem into batons (the inside of the stem is the best bit!)

Step 2

Slice the garlic & chilli.

Step 3

Heat a wok so a drop of water sizzles & evaporates immediately. Add the broccoli.

Step 4

Cook the broccoli for a few minutes until it has charred edges in bits.

Step 5

Add all the other ingredients, and stir. Clamp on the lid & lower the heat a little. Let it all steam for a few minutes.

Step 6

Serve hot, or let cool to room temperature and serve as a salad.
